Moves Like (Jen) Jaggard

Hello, and welcome to my new blog, which I have VERY creatively titled: Jen Jaggard!

If you’re reading this post in real-time, it’s likely because you know me in real-life already. But if you don’t (or just need a refresher!), here’s a little about me:

My name is Jen Jaggard. Which means my husband and I make a lot of jokes around the song “Moves like Jagger.” For example: our wedding hashtag was #IdoslikeJaggard. (We’ve been married almost two years now.)

I’m a USA Today Bestselling YA Fantasy Author under the pen name Jennifer Ellision.

I’m a stay-at-home mom to a beautiful 1-year-old little girl (who we’ll call Little P around here) and two Vizslas named Carson & Cooper.

I am addicted to clothes, but spend most days in leggings.

My family & I live in South Florida, which is fun a lot of the time–and others, feels like we live on the surface of the sun.

I hope this blog is that it will be a way for me to document the good times, write my way through the not-so-great times, and share the things I’m loving. My daughter keeps me pretty busy, so I hope that this will be a fun, semi-regular outlet for me.

As a reformed high school yearbook nerd and armed with a degree in creative writing, blogging seems like a natural fit. It marries my loves of words, preserving memories, and iPhone photography.

And of course, my addiction to online shopping and obsessions with the people I love. We can’t forget those.
